What is A Shifter's Captions?

"Be the change you want to see in the world." - Mohandas Gandhi

Now I'm not sure how Gandhi would take it that his famous line is being used on a niche fetish blog, but he never said what kind of change so I'll leave that to Gandhi to decide. Body swaps, possessions, shapeshifting, and so on are a fascination that has haunted humanity since we discovered we are confined to just one form our entire lives. This blog is made to be an exploration into the potential of those abilities.

Philosophically you can say that our fascination with those concepts means that we perceive the self as separate from the body. But I like to think of it more of a "what if?"

What if we could become somebody who we aren't?

What if we were not confined to one body, but could become anyone we chose to be?

What if becoming others was as easy as changing clothes?

What if we had more than one body?

What if the governments of the world discovered people of special talents?

What if these are just superficial questions I'm asking in the about page as a way to rationalize a fetish blog about body swapping, possessions, and other things?

These are the questions I want to explore here, this is the change I want to see in the world (of TG captions that is). Now welcome to A Shifter's Captions!
